About Me

I am an IT professional with over 30 years experience working in physical, virtual and cloud-based environments. My focus is with IBM AIX on POWER hardware and PowerVS in IBM Cloud, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Amazon Web Services Linux in installation, configuration, and administration roles. However, I have extensive experience with storage management, backup, and clustering solutions.

Away from work I am a keen scuba diver. I am a PADI certified Rescue Diver. I enjoy diving in the warm waters of the Red Sea (or Indonesia or The Maldives!). However, I’m not averse to donning a dry suit and diving the cold, dark places in the UK like Vobster Quay or Stoney Cove.
